Phátima joined the firm in 2011 and currently is the Director of the Corporate and Business Department. She specializes her practice in business law, foreign investment, telecommunications, non-profit associations, family law, free zones and logistics centers, with more than 13 years of experience in corporate and business law, contracts, transactional, and tax law, banking and capital markets.

Phátima has extensive practice in acquisitions and reorganizations, and the dissolution of important companies in the electricity, food, tourism and real estate sectors.

Phátima has participated in essential financing operations, including the first issuance of subordinated bonds abroad by a Dominican bank, as well as the financing of the leading mall in the Punta Cana region and the acquisition and financing of one of the top electricity generator companies in the Dominican Republic, among several other similar cases. 

She has developed leadership in the firm for her commitment to excellence, natural and effective treatment with the clients, and seeing ahead of the curve when structuring case strategies.
